CarlWood Lumber Limited is a supplier of high-quality BC hardwoods and softwoods to wholesale distributors around the world. A family owned manufacturing company, situated in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, CarlWood has been in business for over 30 years and two generations.
The sales-oriented website features a custom photo gallery and a clean, easy-to-understand product list. Detailed descriptions of wood species uses and qualities offer an educational component for customers.
CarlWood’s new website has a fresh layout that combines natural elements, shades of green and collaged photos, giving it an organic quality.
We needed a new and updated website for CarlWood Lumber. This was to be our “main site” for our “root” business. It was to highlight our family business, sustainable forestry, ethical products and production and to show our international reach. We achieved those goals with a wide ranging well put together website.
We soon after began working on other websites industrialtimberproducts.com and later lumberstore.ca, each one leading into a different segment of our wider business.
Honeycomb helped us along this pathway by constantly questioning us and making sure what our goals and needs were.
